02A shift mechanism revision set (upgrade/solid)

Make sure your car shifts better than when it left the factory! With our upgrade revision shiftermechanism set for 02A and early 02J gearboxes.

This set differs from an OEM revision set in that no rubber or soft materials are used, but hard solid plastic (UHMW polyethylene). This ensures that backlash is eliminated, and that gear changes are tight and precise. This material also has a much longer lifespan.

The set is also unique because it is very complete, with which you replace all connecting pieces in your shifter mechanism. The set consists of the following parts:

-All bushes and rubbers in the shifting mechanism in the cabin, there is also an adapted block instead of a convex connection, so there is a much better contact surface, and less chance of play.

-All cable eyes; these cable eyes connect your lever to the gearbox, and are therefore crucial for a tight shift pattern.

- Guide strip shift tower gearbox, this strip has been redesigned for a better contact surface and better conductivity.
