***02A motorsport conversion base***

-Raises shifter mechanism 150mm, so closer to the steering wheel, for quicker shifts, and more time with your hands on the wheel(in a racing situation).

-Will be more comfortable to shift because of the raised position.

-Gives the shiftmechanism a cool motorsport look( people will ask you if you have a sequential gearbox!).

-Easy mounting for 02A Mechanism in a MK1, but will also fit MK2 or MK3.

-Made from stainless steel 304 for looks and durability!

Unlike other short shifter kits on the market we are offering a full reduction kit, so that’s front to back and side to side.

-Front to Back 50% shorter

-Side to Side 35%

-Will reduce or even remove any play in the shifter caused by the cables.

-Faster and more firm shifts.

-Full kit is stainless steel 304 so more durable and less prone to break, than the original.

Because allot of shifter mechanisms got swapped out make sure you have the right mechanism by looking underneath the shifter booth and confirming you have the same mechanism as picture …

-To use the motorsport base you have to run the cables through the cabin and drill holes in the firewall. You also need to drill holes for mounting the base in some cases.
